Sorry guys it has been ages since I updated this column, to be fair there has been so many deals around I have been waiting for something which I thought offered good value and I have found it.
The Hampton by Hilton chain are offering rooms with breakfast and free Internet access from £42.50p a night, I have checked the deal and yes I would be able to get a room which could sleep two adults and two children for that price. The deal ends 15th January but it would make a nice weekend break to shop in the January sales and these hotels are far nicer than a travel lodge. Happy shopping.
