I am a true lover of Champagne and if I had my way I would start every morning with a glass,to me it is the greatest tonic ever invented.
I am a great fan of the more expensive Moet and Bolli, but as the budget gets tighter I have been looking for a cheaper tonic, and this is it.
This “A. Carpentier” Champagne Brut was an absolute bargin, I grabbed a couple of bottles on the run up to Xmas at half price at £9.99 from Tesco’s.
I have since found it around other stores at about £14, it is dry but not too dry, and has masses of lemony, peachy flavours going on, very very drinkable,I have had the more expensive and not been as impressed, so go on treat yourselves and keep me a glass.
